This feature is designed to handle configuration scenarios where you feel real-time pricing should not be made available. This feature is ideal for complex product configurations that require additional engineering input before a sales order can be completed.

Here’s how it works:

When configuring a product on the site, straightforward configurations will display a price and allow the customer to complete the purchase as usual. However, for more complex configurations—such as those requiring an engineering input—Nomad's Intelligent Quoting feature steps in.

Rather than processing the order directly, the system suppresses the price and shifts the customer into a quoting process. Once the item is added to the cart, Nomad removes the usual checkout options like payment or shipping details, and instead, a quote is generated directly in the ERP.

This feature ensures a smooth, online experience for customers, while keeping processes efficient and aligned with your ERP.
